Corporate Card

Designing Candlewick Press's holiday card is always an honor. From the paper stock and book art, to the inside greeting and even picking the postage stamp — all the elements are selected with care to support the high quality branding of this children's publisher. For the 2011 holiday card, I wanted the receiver to see a bit of the lovely endpaper pattern, both on the front and inside. The solution was to trim the front of the card a bit short so that the a band of the pattern could be seen on the inside lip of the card. And somehow the greeting did not seem complete without the addition of a poem from the book Outside Your Window: A First Book of Nature, quietly typeset.
